The aim of the Master is to train geomaticians capable of designing and implementing methods aimed at structuring, enriching by analysis, visualization of vectorial and image geographic information, in order to allow the study and management of phenomena with a component spatial or spatio-temporal, and assist in decision-making.
The training takes place over one academic year and is broken down into:
- A theoretical and practical training of 460 hours of classes, from September to March, which takes place on the premises of the ENSG and the UPEM (campus Paris-Est in Champs-sur-Marne);
- An internship in a company or laboratory from 4 to 6 months, from April to September.
The training builds on research laboratories, including COGIT and MATIS IGN teams. Teaching is provided by teachers and/or researchers from these teams, ENSG and UPEM. Students also benefits from a conference cycle with visiting scientists from various organizations, research institutes, companies or administrations.
